Sire's Pedigree: Sire's pedigree: *SHANDOR by SHAGAL, 1986 International Champion Shagya stallion. SHAGAL is approved by the Danish warmblood, German warmblood and Trakehner Verband for breeding. He is the sire of many offspring that have inherited his size, wonderful disposition and his extreme versatility. Shagal was brilliant in the jumping ring or hunting at Marbach and excelled in many disciplines. He is truly a horse that is loved and admired by many horsemen. Shagal is living his retirement years in Ireland with a small band of mares.

Dam's Pedigree: SJONJA is by Hungarian Bravo, the original foundation Shagya stallion in the US. She is out of Magic Shadow ox, who was approved for purebred Shagya breeding in the late 80's. Her pedigree includes Ramzes Pharaoh to Nazeer, Tuhotmos and his dam Moniet El Nefous, giants in the purebred Arabian history books. These lines made her a superior mate for H. Bravo, enabling her to produce the type of offspring necessary to begin Shagya breeding in the US. Sjonja is a perfect example. She is the dam of 2 approved Shagya stallions and one mare.
